Fresh off their 16-10 win over California that clinched their spot in the upcoming UFL Championship game, the Locos are led offensively by QB and former NFL 1st round draft pick JP Losman, who has thrown for 1,193 yards and nine touchdowns this season. On the ground, Las Vegas has one of the most exciting players in the UFL in RB DeDe Dorsey, who is averaging an astounding 7.4 yards per carry, and has the longest run of the season in the UFL thus far (73 yards). The leader of the Locos defense is LB Teddy Lehman, who currently holds the top spot in the League with 34.5 tackles. The former 2nd round draft pick of the Detroit Lions spent four seasons in the NFL, and now is hoping to lead Las Vegas to the inaugural UFL Championship. Entering their final game of the season, the New York Sentinels will be looking to capture their first win of the season for Head Coach Ted Cottrell. New York has utilized two QB’s this season, with both Quinn Gray and Ingle Martin having mixed results. Gray currently ranks third in the UFL in passing yards, while Martin has had some solid moments in the time he has played. Against the Locos, the Sentinels may use their third QB of the season after signing former Northwestern University QB CJ Bacher over the weekend. One of the bright spots this season for the Sentinels has been the play of WR Craphonso Thorpe. The former 4th round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs ranks second in the UFL in receiving yards, and has led New York in yards in every game except for one. Sentinels Kicker Taylor Rowan will see his first action in the UFL after just being signed. Rowan completed his collegiate career last season at Western Illinois, where he was named All-Conference and All-America. The first time these two teams met on November 4th, the Locos were without Dede Dorsey, but cruised to a 41-10 victory behind a spectacular game from JP Losman. The former Tulane University star completed 73% of his passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns, while RB Marcell Shipp rushed for two touchdowns and CB Trey Young returned an interception 75 yards for a touchdown.
