Locos Head Coach Honored at Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance

In advance of Wednesday night’s UFL Game between the New York Sentinel and the Las Vegas Locos at Hofstra University, Locos Head Coach Jim Fassel — formerly the New York Giants head coach — was honored for his contributions to the Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance at KeySpan Park. The wall is a tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11. Over a third of the firefighters lost that day were from Brooklyn.

Founder of the Jim Fassel Foundation, Fassel started the Jim Fassel Foundation, a September 11 foundation established for aiding with expenses that were not covered elsewhere. The goal was to provide a place where these families could turn to in a time of need, a place that would provide relief with a minimal amount of red tape and bureaucracy.
