Today's match-up features several playmakers from the UFL's inaugural week. California QB Shane Boyd scored the first touchdown in UFL history when he scrambled 4 yards to the end zone to give the Redwoods an early 7-3 lead over Las Vegas. New York Sentinels CB Paul Pratt recorded the first interception in UFL history when he picked off Tuskers QB Brooks Bollinger and returned it 27 yards to the Florida 1-yard line. Sentinels Head Coach Ted Cottrell will work hard to make sure New York comes out executing on offense against the Redwoods after he watched his team get only three possessions in the second half against Florida, generating no points and only 65 total yards. Coach Dennis Green's Redwoods offense will look to get back on track early against New York after coming away with only 3 points against the Locos in the second half of their 30-17 loss.
