Eric Powell's journey came to an abrupt halt Wednesday. Facing cut down day for the United Football League, Powell was one of nine players let go by the Florida Tuskers.

"Unfortunately he's going to get left out," Tuskers' Coach Jim Haslett said. "If something happens then we'll definitely get him back in here. He's a hard worker and he was working his (butt) off. I wish he could be here but that's just kinda the way things work out sometimes."
