
The United Football League announced today the signing of 19 players for its New York franchise including Quarterback Quinn Gray and Running Backs Cecil Sapp and Shannon Woods. The complete list of players being announced today includes:

This is the first of several player announcements for the New York franchise that will be made over the next few weeks.
“In my inaugural season as head coach, it has been very exciting going through the player allocation process and utilizing a blank canvas to create a winning franchise,” said New York Head Coach Ted Cottrell. “There are many talented players who are looking for another chance to shine and I am glad the UFL is providing that opportunity for both of us.”
The United Football League is a new professional football league that will kick-off its “Premiere” season this October. Featuring high-quality traditional football played by world-class athletes and former NFL coaches, the UFL will host four teams in seven cities. The UFL’s goal is to provide fans with affordable, innovative and entertaining game-day experiences. The UFL’s games, which will be broadcast live on VERSUS in HD and on HDNet, will culminate with a Championship Game over Thanksgiving weekend in Las Vegas. The New York franchise will formally announce its team name and unveil its uniforms next week.
