The Florida Tuskers and New York Sentinels now have five days of practice in the books, but that doesn't necessarily mean coaches Jim Haslett and Ted Cottrell have everything all figured out.

They're seeing many of these players for the first time this week, and they only gone with shorts and shoulder pads in practice, working mostly on conditioning and offensive and defensive walk-thrus.

Koren Robinson is defiant, Odell Thurman is desperate, Chas Gessner is daring and Zach Piller is dedicated.

The 4-D Club defines the essence of the United Football League, a consortium of four teams filled with former fringe NFL players or guys who didn’t have the life skills to handle the big time. The league began practices last week for its six-game season, which will culminate with a title game on Nov. 27.

The United Football League announced today that four highly talented broadcasters will lead the television coverage of the UFL on VERSUS.  Veteran play-play announcer Dave Sims joins the broadcast booth with color analyst and former NFL standout Doug Flutie.  Former Steelers Quarterback Kordell Stewart and radio and television host Anita Marks will serve as sideline and features reporters.

Craphonso Thorpe has to be tired. He's like one of those guys who's trying to see a game in every NFL stadium before he dies.

Of course, this year it will likely be a little later in the season before he makes his next visit.

Thorpe, the former Florida State receiver and Tallahasse Lincoln grad, is working out as a member of the UFL's New York Sentinels this week as training camp opened in Orlando.

The United Football League announced its “Premiere” season training camp rosters today.  Training camp officially began on Monday, September 14th in Orlando, Florida and Casa Grande, Arizona and players were added until this morning.  The Florida Tuskers and New York Sentinels are training at the Citrus Bowl while the California Redwoods and the Las Vegas Locomotives are training at the Casa Grande Performance Institute.  Complete rosters follow this press announcement and can also be found on the UFL’s website at www.ufl-football.com.
