Professional Career Highlights: Signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2006; played in three games as a reserve at TE in 2007; signed from the practice squad on Nov. 29th and made NFL debut in Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals; appeared in three games for the Steelers in 2007; a member of the Steelers practice squad from 2006 – 2008.

College Accomplishments: A two-time All-Ivy League football player at Princeton University; in 2003, he started all 10 games at tight end and caught 19 passes for 287 yards and a touchdown; in his first collegiate game, against Lehigh, caught three passes for 81 yards, including a career-best 39-yard reception; had a breakout performance at Harvard, catching five passes for 73 yards…each of his five receptions gave Princeton a first down and two of them were fourth-down conversions; first career touchdown reception came against Cornell on a 16-yard pass in the second quarter of a 28-6 win; had at least one reception in eight games and at least two receptions in six games; started all 10 games at tight end in 2003 catching 13 passes for 106 yards; matched a career high with five receptions against Columbia, including three on the final drive of regulation that eventually forced overtime; caught at least one pass in eight of the final nine games of the season; in 2005 he started all 10 games at tight end and caught a team-best 32 passes for 367 yards (11.5 avg.); hauled in four touchdown passes, a personal high, and averaged 36.7 receiving yards per game; tallied at least one reception in every game; had a two-yard touchdown reception and finished with five catches for 69 yards against San Diego; had touchdown catches against Brown, Cornell and Penn (33-yard TD catch); posted seven receptions for 71 yards against Harvard.

Personal: Attended Thomas More High School; selected to the Wisconsin Football all-star game; earned all-state honors as a senior as well as all-area, all-suburban and all-region honors; two-time all-conference selection; two-time captain of his football and basketball team; played in the Wisconsin Basketball all-star game as a senior; earned conference basketball player of the year as a senior; was a two-time first-team all-conference selection and two-time recipient of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal Student Achiever award; won the Brady Scholar Athlete award at his school; Army Reserve Scholar Athlete winner; earned a degree in philosophy at Princeton; passed Series 7 Financial Securities exam.
