College Accomplishments:  Bacher started 28 career games at quarterback and played in 34 games overall. He closed his career ranked second on Northwestern’s career list for completions (664), third for passing yardage (7,319), third for passing TD's (43) and third in total offense (7,571). Bacher owned a 16-12 record as Northwestern’s starting quarterback and finished fifth on Northwestern's career pass efficiency rating chart (121.15). He threw for 200 or more yards in 23 of 28 career starts. In 2008, he was the starting quarterback and team captain, and he was one of 26 quarterbacks nationally named to Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Watch List. He was named The Sporting News’ Big Ten’s “Best Player Under Pressure,” and he ranked 15th nationally in completions per game (22.3).

Personal:  Bacher earned his undergraduate degree in Communication Studies and also attended Northwestern to earn a graduate degree. He is the son of K.C. and Susie Bacher, and his father was an All-Conference performer at New Hampshire. Born Christopher James Bacher.
