The 2010 William Hambrecht Trophy title defense by the Las Vegas Locos will be aided by the Locos cheerleading and dance team which will be directed by longtime dancer Kim Diaz. Come check out Kim and the LocoMotives out in the community!

Las Vegas Locos Cheerleading/Dance Director Kim Diaz

Kim Diaz began cheerleading as the Captain of the University of Central Florida dance team. In that role she helped lead the dance team performances at football and basketball halftime shows, as well as during basketball games. Kim would also serve as a Dance Instructor at the Universal Dance Association where she traveled throughout the country teaching dance to every age group from middle schooler to college. She also judged auditions and competitions.

From 1997 to 2001 Kim danced for the Orlando Predators dance team and from 1999 to 2001 she did the same for the Orlando Magic. In these roles she would perform at games, make promotional appearances and coach youth programs.

From 1999 to 2003 Kim served as the co-director of the award winning competition studio Academy of Performing Arts in Central Florida and from 2001 until 2003 she also served as Assistant Director for Studio 5D in Central Florida. She brings a lifetime of dancing experience to her leadership of the Locos squad.
