UFL Reaches Out to Fans Through Revised Website

Commissioner Michael Huyghue - May 17, 2009

Welcome to the redesign of the UFL website.  One of our primary objectives at the UFL is to involve the fan as much as possible and we feel this new design will better assist us in these efforts.  Our new website is designed to be a one-stop shop for all things UFL, including breaking news alerts, interactive video, ticket sales, game-day information and so much more.  Although some components are still being developed, we are well on our way for our October debut.

Some of the new enhanced features to our site include the UFL Twitter log and text alert sign up.  In order to keep you apprised of all League happenings in the timeliest manner, many League executives, including our coaches, will be "tweeting".  I hope you start following me on Twitter - I can be reached @UFLCommish.  We have also created the official UFL social networking pages at Facebook, YouTube and MySpace, Some other interesting features of our new website include a high definition multifunction media player which includes footage of UFL press conferences, links to TV and radio interviews, and a UFL photo gallery. We have streamlined our communications throughout the website so whether you are a fan, player, coach, agent, media, corporation, etc. you can reach the appropriate UFL contact.

We hope you take some time to explore our new site and provide feedback on what you like and what enhancements you would like to see in the future.  Please refer any technical questions and/or comments to webmaster@ufl-football.com

Please sign up for our newsletter, text alert, and twitter feed as we will be announcing my next interactive chat in the upcoming weeks.

I am so excited to see another football league. I am a huge fan, and I miss Arena, NFL Europe and I even watched XFL. The NFL is set to Strike in a coupl eyears if things don't change and I hope to have some football to watch if that happens. The NFL also could use a Minor league lik ethe other sports have. Since Baseball and Hockey decided they didn't care about there fans and striked i am running out of sports to watch....

I'd have to agree, this looks great. I'd also have to agree with the suggestion of a message board.

Maybe a Message Board would be great for the new website...
